Happy Mother’s Day!
And a flower doodle dedicated to mothers everywhere

Today is Mother’s Day so to all the mums out there — have a good one!

I’ve always associated my Ma with flowers because she loves them so much. She’d buy books on flowers and gush over images of flowers on tv or print. Growing up, our house was always filled with flowers of all kinds (but mostly fake ones:P). Visitors to our house would always be amused by the amount of flowers we had. (Since we had our cats, we’ve kept most of the flowers in boxes because they tend to knock down the vases or chew on the plastic leaves)

Fittingly, today’s Doodle Week theme is Doodle Flower.

I used Odopod Sketch to draw today’s doodle. Odopod is a design studio and Odopod Sketch is a Flash-based online sketching tool that does a good job simulating the look of a real sketch. Try it out!

This doodle is my submission for Doodle Week- Doodle Flowers. Everyone’s invited, so do join in the fun!
